The 2025 Haut-Marbuzet is a wild, powerful wine, and one of the most distinctive wines in Bordeaux. Huge fruit and equally imposing tannins are the signatures. This old-school Saint-Estèphe is going to require quite a bit of patience, but it has so much to offer. Gravel, dried herbs, menthol, licorice and dried herbs meld into the huge, tannic finish. Give this time.

The finish is long and gently marked by Cabernet Sauvignon, lending definition and persistence. In 2025, the wine leans more toward the character of the vintage than the estate’s more opulent signature, resulting in a slightly less marked identity than in 2022, but a particularly composed and refined expression.
