"Der Chenade stammt aus sandig-kiesigen Böden und besticht durch seine Frische mit Aromen von Veilchen, roten Beeren und einem Hauch von Eukalyptus. Am Gaumen zunächst leicht salzig, zeigt der Wein ein cremiges und geradliniges Profil. Er hat Temperament und Fülle, was er seinen Tanninen und einer strukturgebenden Säure verdankt. Ein vielversprechender Wein, den man jung und auch etwas älter genießen kann." (04/2026)

"Before tasting, I wondered if this particular wine would take on the dry character of the vintage more than the others in the Durantou range, and for sure you have a little more dried fruit character here, with fig and touches of prune, but it is beautifully balanced and lifted by nectarine pit and fennel.
