Falstaff: 93 Punkte

"Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Etwas scheu, feine dunkle Beerenfrucht, schwarze Kirschen, Nougat, zarte Kräuterwürze unterlegt. Saftig, elegant, reife Herzkirschen, integrierte, tragende Tannine, mineralisch und gut anhaftend, gute Länge, zeigt Reifepotenzial." - Peter Moser (04/2026)

The 2025 La Marzelle is so classy and polished. Dark red cherry/plum fruit, mocha, new leather, incense, tobacco, dried herbs and chocolate all meld together in the glass. Medium in body but also quite juicy, the 2025 is very nicely balanced.

93-94 POINTS

Plenty of dark fruit, plum, cherry and orange aromas. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture and a consistent finish. I like the nicely ripe fruit in this. (04/2026)

89-91 POINTS

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 La Marzelle is showing a good amount of oak at this stage, opening out to reveal a core of stewed black cherries and baked plums, plus hints of chargrill, sassafras, and dried Provence herbs. The medium- to full-bodied palate has a solid structure of firm, chewy tannins and plenty of freshness with baked black fruit flavors and a woody finish. (04/2026)
