The 2025 Le Thil comes from limestone/clay soils. It has a light but delineated bouquet, with fine minéralité coming through. The palate is medium-bodied and, again, that limestone really comes through on the entry, linear and vertical in style with a dash of cracked black pepper towards the finish. It has an intellectual aspect this year.

Precise and medium- to full-bodied, showing a focused, almost fibrous structure, polished tannins with a touch of granularity, and linear dark fruit.

A beautiful, elegant wine, the 2025 Château Le Thil is based on 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc and reveals black cherries, smoky tobacco, violets, and some spicy nuances on the nose. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel and fine tannins. (05/2026)

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Le Thil pops from the glass with notes of blueberries and juicy raspberries with touches of dried herbs, tilled soil, and tree moss. The medium-bodied palate is soft and bright with savory accents complementing the blue fruit flavors, finishing earthy. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. (04/2026)
