The 2025 Péby Faugères, 100% Merlot, delivers a heady concoction of crème de cassis, gravel, lavender and mocha. Plush and exotic, with notable richness, Péby has a lot to offer. This dense, explosive Saint-Émilion packs a pretty substantial punch. It's a gorgeous wine from proprietor Silvio Denz.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Péby Faugères comes barreling out with bold notes of preserved plums and blackberry pie, opening out to reveal suggestions of tar, dried mint, cedar chest, and crushed rocks. The full-bodied palate delivers a crisp backbone and firm, grainy tannins to frame the dense black fruit preserves flavors, finishing long and minty. This is 100% Merlot. (04/2026)
