"Impressive layer of rich silky fruits, baking spice, peony, anis and biberry. High aromatics, this is very much in balance, high tannic count, edge of coffee and cocoa bean. A vintage with a high tannic mass, and where the barrels with be very important during the ageing. Moulin family. 45% new oak, 3.65 pH, 16hl/ha yield. "Dark heady aromatics, really floral and black fruited with a softly spiced edge. Juicy, creamy, round, filling and fresh. This has a subtle charm from the off, not shouting – it’s a little subdued overall but I do like the texture. A touch grippy with nice structure, soft acidity and pure blue fruit. A little shy and toasted right now with liquorice and cola giving some tightness but it's long with some acidity underneath. A wine to wait for – grippy, stony, textured and gravelly. Record Cabernet percentage in the blend. Average vine age 53-54 years. 3.65pH. A yield of 16hl/ha." - Georgina Hindle (04/2026)
