"Pure blackcurrants on the nose. Smooth and supple, this has a feeling of understated confidence about it straight away. Ripe but not fleshy, thicker tannins support cool fruit with some oak edges - cinnamon and clove coming in to give nuance but not overwhelming the expression. Grippy, intense, but also cool, focused, fresh and lively. This has intensity but is not over the top. Firm and tight but feels really well made with lots of detail. 3.42pH.
