Falstaff: 90 Punkte

"Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Frische rote Herzkirschen, dunkles Waldbeerkonfit unterlegt, mineralischer Touch. Komplex, reife Zwetschken, entwickelt, etwas weitmaschig, runde Tannine, bereits früh antrinkbar." - Peter Moser (04/2026)

The 2025 Sénéjac, aged in 25% new oak, has a well-defined, quite estuarine bouquet that opens in the glass. It evokes a sense of place already. The palate is medium-bodied with firm and quite grippy tannins, harmonious but quite "serious" in style. Good complexity and sapidity, this is a classy and attractive Sénéjac that should age well in bottle. A fine Haut-Médoc.

Chewy tannins with a medium body and a rather linear finish. Tight at the end. (04/2026)

Medium-bodied and fruity with lots of freshness in the well composed aftertaste. 2025 Senejac has a fine, smooth, well defined taste and structure. A very good glass of wine that will be interesting to follow.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Senejac pops from the glass with bright notes of juicy raspberries and red cherries, followed by hints of roses, tree moss, and bay leaves. The light- to medium-bodied palate is soft and delicately styled with spritely red berry flavors and a savory lift on the finish. (04/2026)

A gourmand, lively bouquet of cassis, dark berries, violet and flowers prefaces the 2025 Sénéjac. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and enveloping, it’s built around a core of fruit with good depth and framed by velvety tannins, concluding with a long, structured and elegant finish. Particularly approachable this year, it is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
