The 2025 Domaine de l'Aurage is fabulous. Inky, rich and explosive in the glass, the 2025 is a real showstopper. Super-ripe black cherry fruit, gravel, incense, tobacco, chocolate and licorice convey somber intensity and palpable sepia-toned complexity. The 2025 is very much an extrovert. A gorgeous extrovert.

All 100% Merlot from deeper clay soils with some limestone, the 2025 Domaine De L'Aurage is a big, ripe Castillon with classic notes of black cherry, vanilla, leafy herbs, and candied orange on the nose. On the palate, it's rich, medium to full-bodied, and nicely textured. (05/2026)
