"Deep and rich in colour. Structured, toasted spice, dark chocolate, espresso, graphite, mint leaf. Great stuff, easy to recommend, one to look out for. 3.60 pH. 20% new oak. Harvest September 9 to 21. A far clearer link with the main Lynch Bages estate than many 2nd wines in the vintage, and one of the 'sibling' wines of the vintage. Nicolas Labenne technical director." "Blackcurrant leaf, dark fruit and some black chocolate and dried floral scents. Supple with lovely energy and flex. Grippy but also chewy so you get texture and weight without any dryness or austerity. Juicy, lively, still grippy with a chalky, salty touch to the finish. Nice nuance and approachability while keeping a cool, blueberry element all the way through. ‘Lightly’ presented, certainly nothing overdone here. Bravo." - Georgina Hindle (04/2026)

"Expressiv, floral, kräuterwürzig, dunkle Frucht, Zedernholz; cremiger Auftakt, satte Frucht, wohl dosiertes Tannin, salines Finale. Ein gelungener, frischer und doch kräftiger Echo de Lynch-Bages." - Adrian van Velsen (04/2026)

The 2025 Echo de Lynch-Bages is a pretty serious second wine that is going to need a number of years to soften. Quite frankly, I don't think I have ever tasted an Echo with this much power and overall structure. Dark-fleshed fruit, gravel, incense, licorice and scorched earth convey gravitas. There's a lot of wine here, but patience is required.

A classic, chewy Pauillac that has plenty of personality, the 2025 Echo De Lynch-Bages reveals black currants, smoky tobacco, scorched earth, and graphite on the nose. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's rich, concentrated, and has the classic Lynch-Bages power and richness. (05/2026)

Nose of smooth, silky, well defined fruit supported by a classic elegant backbone. This is very classic and is a wine that will need considerable bottle age as it has the tannins and structure to go the distance. This is a very fine second wine and of the best and most precise wines of Echo de Lynch Bages I have encountered.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Echo de Lynch-Bages needs a little swirling to bring out notes of fresh black currants and red plums, giving way to nuances of sandalwood, cedar, potpourri, and unsmoked cigars. The light- to medium-bodied palate is light on its feet and refreshing, delivering lightly chewy tannins and savory-laced black berry flavors, finishing whispery. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. It has a pH of 3.63 and the alcohol is 13%. (04/2026)
