The 2025 Les Champs Libres is laced with hints of lemon confit, dried flowers, mint, chalk, chamomile and a kiss of French oak. Airy and gracious with good energy, the 2025 has a lot to offer. It's an attractive but quiet white with less energy than most years.

The 2025 Les Champs Libres sails out of the glass with energetic notes of fresh grapefruit, lime blossoms, and yuzu, followed by hints of wet slate and wild thyme. The light- to medium-bodied palate is finely crafted, refreshing, and nuanced, with bright citrusy yet whispery layers and a long, chalky finish. Beautiful. This is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The alcohol is 14%, and the pH is 3.1. (04/2026)

Very peppery, spicy, deep and concentrated. Well defined with a long and vibrant aftertaste, very deep and very fine. This should provide nice drinking after 2-3 years of cellaring. It will be bottled in July and be a great companion for food where its expression should be even more evident. (05/2026)
