The 2025 Riesling Piesporter Treppchen GG comes from slightly deeper, richer soil and 60-year-old vines. An initial scentedness on the nose almost has something floral. The palate is completely bundled, concentrated and straight. This packs power but holds it in absolute stoniness and straightness. It moves like an arrow, propelled forward with immense force that will need time to settle. What stays on the palate is this indelible sense of stone, salt and lemon. (Bone-dry)
