Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Pichon Comtesse Reserve sails out with energetic notes of fresh blackberries, black raspberries, and red currant preserves, followed by hints of forest floor, crushed rocks, and wild thyme. The light- to medium-bodied palate is delicate and refreshing with lively red and black fruit layers and a chalky finish. The blend is 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc. It has a pH of 3.7 with a TPI of 66 and the alcohol is 13%. (04/2026)

Fresh and pure fruit, good peppery backbone and a nice smooth, fruity freshness in the taste. This bottle should be ready for consumption early on and is a fresh, fragrant, well built wine with a nice smooth and tannic crush at the end. (05/2026)
