The 2025 Riesling Schloss Johannisberg Orangelack Kabinett is a different interpretation of this Prädikat, from the eastern part of the slope that catches the morning sun. It was fermented in stainless steel, then aged for half a year in Doppelstück. A touch of chamomile is joined by a little smokiness and a whole lot of lemon aromas. The palate is fine-boned and graceful, a picture of coolness, lightness and elegance. This is a calmer, quieter Kabinett with finesse.3 (Off-dry)
