This is quite delicious with a bounce to the expression as well as firm, grippy tannins and some black chocolate and liquorice to accent the finish. Great stuff. 3.66pH. A yield of 35hl/ha. The 2024 Château d'Arsac has a light bouquet with hints of pressed flowers infusing the mainly black fruit. It just lacks vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with rough tannins on the entry. It's slightly peppery in style with a short but at least cohesive finish. This is early-drinking. - Neal Martin (04/2025)
