The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard is dark, unctuous and fabulously concentrated. Blueberry jam, crème de cassis, bittersweet chocolate, menthol, licorice and cloves infuse this unctuous, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The 85% new oak is already well integrated. This is another compelling, full-throttle wine from David Beckstoffer and Benoit Touquette. The 85% new oak is already nicely integrated.

This shows a brightness and balance with blackberry and blueberry. Orange peel, too. Medium body and fine tannins. Crisp and fresh. Delicious now. (2017)

Winemaker David Beckstoffer commented that he was blown away by the 2015 vintage. The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard offers the sexy exuberance of the vintage front and center with its huge nose of blueberry fruits, bay leaf, and violets. It's deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, with just straight-up awesome purity of fruit. This is gorgeous. (2019)

Containing 20% Petite Sirah, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard displays a very deep purple-black color and is profoundly scented of crème de cassis, chocolate box, prunes and Indian spices with touches of dried Provence herbs, anise and raisin cake. Big, rich, full-bodied and concentrated in the mouth, the Petite Sirah certainly makes its presence known, contributing a bit of chew to the ripe, grainy Cabernet tannins and offering lingering exotic spice and Christmas pudding notions on the finish.
