This is the first vintage of Le Petit Clos that was fermented and vinified in amphora. The 2021 is a totally different offering than the 2020 – both are a result of the vintage and the new vinification. I like the 2021 for its purity, and the aromatics 'pop' - it's all florals and nectarines. In an amphora, the relationship between the wine and the lees gives this wine gorgeous texture. The finish is dry, structured, fresh and grips the mouth like a baby holding on to its mum.
