The 2021 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has 5% Cabernet Franc in the blend. Deep garnet-purple in color, it explodes with a mushroom cloud of plum preserves, boysenberries, and creme de cassis with an undercurrent of Chinese five spice, cast-iron pan, and aniseed plus a waft of dusty soil.
