The 2022 Château La Cabanne showed well, with a red and blue-fruited profile as well as some classic flora, violets, and darker chocolate-like, Merlot-dominated nuances. Medium to full-bodied, this round, lush, nicely textured Pomerol has just a kiss of the firmer, aggressive tannins that can be common in the vintage. It should drink nicely with just a few years of bottle age. (2023)
