The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon wraps around the palate with substantial depth and textural intensity. Black cherry, plum, new leather, licorice and incense are all amplified in this potent, brooding Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2021 needs time to soften, but it is promising.

This is serious with a deep dark-fruited character, notes of iodine, black olives, charred bark, smoky flint and raw mushrooms. Full-bodied, so refined and polished with an array of ultra-fine, silky tannins that lasts for minutes. Broad and encompassing with a long finish. Hints of sea shell, iron and umami. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is beautiful, with lots of classic cassis, violet, graphite, and some tobacco notes as well as background chocolate and loamy earth. It's medium to full-bodied and has gorgeous purity, fine tannins, and a great finish. This elegant, refined, classic Cabernet Sauvignon will evolve for 20 years if well stored. (12/2023)

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, with 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot in the blend, is deep garnet-purple in color. Bright, vivacious notes of crushed black and red currants, fresh blackberries, and Morello cherries spring from the glass, leading to touches of menthol, tilled soil, and tree bark. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing and energetic, with a frame of ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and with great purity. (11/2023)
